About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform the full spectrum of duties in controlled filling and ancillary rooms
  • Set up and operate automated filling and support equipment, including fillers, stoppering units, and cappers
  • Complete paperwork and log book entries for filling rooms according to approved procedures
  • Follow written procedures for fill-room operation
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and rooms, including walls and floors
  • Collect samples and perform fill-weight checks and other quality checks
  • Assist with or perform preventive maintenance on filling equipment
  • Refer process issues to the Supervisor or designee
  • Inform the supervisor of maintenance and safety issues
  • Work overtime with short notice when production requires
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervision and management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • 1 year of experience operating production equipment and/or analytical instrumentation, or 2 years as a Clean Room Operator required
  • Prior aseptic technique training preferred but not required
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to document process issues clearly according to cGMPs and SOPs
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions
  • Ability to resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to examine problem areas and recommend corrective action
  • Ability to comprehend and follow applicable SOPs
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting
  • Ability to work in a fully gowned filling-suite environment and use hearing protection when required
