About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform the full spectrum of duties in controlled filling and ancillary rooms
Set up and operate automated filling and support equipment, including fillers, stoppering units, and cappers
Complete paperwork and log book entries for filling rooms according to approved procedures
Follow written procedures for fill-room operation
Clean and sanitize equipment and rooms, including walls and floors
Collect samples and perform fill-weight checks and other quality checks
Assist with or perform preventive maintenance on filling equipment
Refer process issues to the Supervisor or designee
Inform the supervisor of maintenance and safety issues
Work overtime with short notice when production requires
Perform other duties assigned by supervision and management

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma required
1 year of experience operating production equipment and/or analytical instrumentation, or 2 years as a Clean Room Operator required
Prior aseptic technique training preferred but not required
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to document process issues clearly according to cGMPs and SOPs
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions
Ability to resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to examine problem areas and recommend corrective action
Ability to comprehend and follow applicable SOPs
Ability to lift 15 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Ability to work in a fully gowned filling-suite environment and use hearing protection when required
