About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete supervised training in component preparation, filter integrity testing, product sterilization, and aseptic gowning
Prepare components and scan them to staging, storage, preparation, and usage areas using the RF system
Conduct Membrane Integrity Testing and document test results
Prepare miscellaneous items, tubing, and filters required by Filling or Compounding
Perform terminal sterilization of finished products using autoclaves
Aseptically gown, sanitize, and perform proper plating
Clean, prepare, and sterilize equipment and perform sterile operations on a rotational basis
Read filling schedules and follow applicable SOPs and Work Instructions
Use cleaning equipment including Crest Ultrasonic Washers, ultrasonic basins, Girton Washers, WFI point-of-use panels, thermometers, and pressure gauges
Move and load carts/trucks from autoclaves
Interpret pressure and temperature charts and complete associated documentation
Verify incoming materials using Bills of Materials and calculate required closure quantities
Operate closure preparation equipment, bag sealers, label guns, and RF guns
Perform work-area clean and clearance
Complete and maintain logbooks and batch-record paperwork
Report manufacturing/component deviations to the area Supervisor/Group Leader
Maintain general area housekeeping
Perform other duties assigned by supervision, including training others
Adhere to cGMPs and SOPs to ensure product quality and integrity

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum: Successful completion of applicable Work Instruction qualifications and gowning training
No prior Equipment Prep experience is required
Preferred: prior equipment preparation, Clean Room, or sterile operator experience
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
Excellent English language comprehension, written and verbal
Ability to perform production-documentation calculations using whole numbers, common fractions, and/or decimals
Ability to follow set guidelines, procedures, applicable SOPs, and Work Instructions
Ability to understand and interpret pressure and temperature charts and process-control documents
Ability to work safely
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. and push/pull trucks weighing over 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods
Must be gown qualified to work in a clean-room environment
Willingness and ability to work in a controlled environment with moderate to loud noise
Ability to work with WFI at temperatures over 50°C and pressure vessels such as autoclaves
Use of hearing protection and latex/protective gloves as required
