About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and maintain Health & Safety policies, procedures, and programs
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with local HSE laws, international standards, and company requirements
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and root cause analyses
- Deliver HSE training and awareness sessions to employees and contractors
- Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare periodic reports
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Environmental or related field)
- 3–5 years of experience in Health & Safety, preferably in pharmaceutical sector or related
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
- Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety audits
- Certifications (Required / Preferred) such as: NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent, IOSH Managing Safely (minimum), OSHA certifications / OSHA 30-hour (preferred)
- Proficient in Both Arabic & English Language
