Product Manager – Oncology

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish a comprehensive and accessible product information system
- Organize training schedules for the sales team to enhance their understanding of the product portfolio
- Identify market segments, competitive positioning, development trends, and growth opportunities
- Monitor and report product and sales team performance to assess effectiveness and recommend adjustments
- Coordinate planning, logistics, and product development to ensure cost-effective marketing campaigns and promotional events
- Plan for new product introductions and develop strategic marketing plans
- Conduct market research and analysis to support business growth and strategy development
- Perform comprehensive product evaluations and provide recommendations based on financials, risks, and technology trends
- Monitor industry trends and apply insights to maintain a robust product pipeline
- Collaborate with Business Development to identify potential new products and technologies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Develop and implement strategic plans for product launches and lifecycle management
- Work collaboratively with R&D, manufacturing, sales, and other stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze product performance, manage risks, and forecast sales
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field
- A master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field is a plus
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 1 year in product portfolio management and marketing
- Proven experience in Oncology , with a solid understanding of therapeutic areas, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities
