About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks
Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, including laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes
Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics
Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas
Conduct preliminary analyses of data under provided guidelines
Make quantitative judgments concerning technical data
Use personal computers for analyses and development of documentation and reports
Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate may substitute for the Associate's Degree
Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate may substitute for the Associate's Degree
High School/GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience may substitute for the Associate's Degree
High School/GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience may substitute for the Associate's Degree
U.S. Citizenship required
