About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipment
- Perform maintenance and technical support on equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
- Analyze and evaluate products and related performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time
- Install, upgrade and remove products while ensuring coordinative engineering field change
- Maintain effective customer communications and relations
- Provide onsite training of customer support personnel when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience
- NNS Apprentice School graduate may be equivalent to an Associate's Degree
- Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate may be equivalent to an Associate's Degree
- High School/GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience may be equivalent to an Associate's Degree
- High School/GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience may be equivalent to an Associate's Degree
- U.S. Citizenship required
- No clearance required to start
