Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
Specific knowledge of the design of VCS, SEAWOLF, and SSN 688 Class submarines
Understanding of how technical requirements vary between the different classes.
Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program operational and maintenance experience for either submarines or aircraft carriers.
Experience with or an understanding of the interdisciplinary interactions and program management necessary to successfully lead a new design program.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to support the development and presentation of technical reports and briefs to internal and external stakeholder leadership.
