Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
  • Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Specific knowledge of the design of VCS, SEAWOLF, and SSN 688 Class submarines
  • Understanding of how technical requirements vary between the different classes.
  • Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program operational and maintenance experience for either submarines or aircraft carriers.
  • Experience with or an understanding of the interdisciplinary interactions and program management necessary to successfully lead a new design program.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to support the development and presentation of technical reports and briefs to internal and external stakeholder leadership.
