About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Radiological Control Program for the Nuclear Propulsion Engineering organization
- Ensure that all applicable RadCon procedures and requirements are followed to ensure radiological safety for NNS personnel and the environment
- Interact with various internal and external customers on a frequent basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Engineering and 10 years engineering experience OR MS in Engineering and 8 years of relevant engineering experience
- Candidate's degree must be from an ABET accredited program in the school of engineering.
- Knowledgeable of NAVSEA radiological control requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage and direct the work of others
