About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for all phases of overhaul construction, test and redelivery of Topside systems, components and compartments of an in-service aircraft carrier
responsible for the Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost and Engagement of the construction and production teams supporting the program
operate in a fast paced environment where urgency and responsiveness are critical
collaborate and build teams in order to achieve project goals
professionally represent the Program with the customers, such as NAVSEA, NRRO, SUPSHIP and Ships Force

Requirements

What you’ll need

NNS Apprentice graduate or Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of applicable technical experience OR Master's degree and 8 years relevant experience
thorough understanding of construction, manufacturing processes, and operations
demonstrated abilities to lead all aspects of oversight for scheduling, manning, progressing, materials, contracting and integration
ability to access the ship and vertical ladders greater than 25 feet
experience with coordination of AIT and CCT work is preferred
prior construction, production and/or test leadership preferred
