About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for all phases of overhaul construction, test and redelivery of Topside systems, components and compartments of an in-service aircraft carrier
- responsible for the Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost and Engagement of the construction and production teams supporting the program
- operate in a fast paced environment where urgency and responsiveness are critical
- collaborate and build teams in order to achieve project goals
- professionally represent the Program with the customers, such as NAVSEA, NRRO, SUPSHIP and Ships Force
Requirements
What you’ll need- NNS Apprentice graduate or Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of applicable technical experience OR Master's degree and 8 years relevant experience
- thorough understanding of construction, manufacturing processes, and operations
- demonstrated abilities to lead all aspects of oversight for scheduling, manning, progressing, materials, contracting and integration
- ability to access the ship and vertical ladders greater than 25 feet
- experience with coordination of AIT and CCT work is preferred
- prior construction, production and/or test leadership preferred
