About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- This classification is engaged in research and/or product development in engineering disciplines
- Research, develop, and design electrical solutions for system integration onboard US Navy Ships
- Perform cognizant engineering liaison with other engineering disciplines
- Lead shipcheck and drawing development efforts
- Ability to independently coordinate drawing development efforts
- Identify, develop, and coordinate drawing changes
- Participate in Shipchecks as lead engineer
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university and 5 years of experience -or- Master of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university and 3 years of experience -or- PHD in Engineering from an ABET accredited university and 1 year of experience
- Advanced Knowledge of Power/IC and Lighting systems onboard US Navy Ships
