About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system.
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
Develops and recommends corrective actions.
Provides technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
Collaborates closely with cross functional engineering, cybersecurity, program leadership, and IT operations teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant exempt experience.
Architect scalable, distributed system solutions integrating AI/ML models, data pipelines, and real time analytics components.
Define cloud native architectures using AWS, Azure, GovCloud, or private cloud platforms.
Own systems engineering activities including requirements decomposition, interface definition, MBSE, and integration strategy development.
Develop technical architecture artifacts (logical/physical diagrams, data flows, sequence diagrams).
Lead cloud modernization initiatives: containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, service mesh integration.
Integrate cybersecurity architecture into system design using secure by design principles.
