  • The Frigate Ship Design Manager reports to the Director of Program Engineering and provides broad program technical direction
  • Manages the associated engineering efforts
  • Requires a broad grasp of the Frigate program and ship design issues and related practices and procedures
  • Assure technical adequacy, accuracy, and quality of engineering products developed
  • Manage the workload and assignment of personnel under cognizance
  • Review and approve all engineering products developed under area of responsibility
  • Act as an advisor to subordinate supervisors or staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school of engineering
  • 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering, and design or equivalent
  • A Master's of Science degree in Engineering and professional registration with 6 years of relevant experience are preferred
