About the role
- Oversee personnel activities of NNS Washington Technical Office (WTO)
- Supervisor over 10 direct reports
- Monitor department administrative costs
- Foster engagement
- Oversee WTO physical facility
- Serve as adjutant arm of the Chief Engineer's Office
- Bring WTO personnel to bear on emergent issues
- Engage with government, industry and academic leaders

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
- Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience
- PhD and 4 years of relevant experience
- Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
