About the role
- Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Individual will directly support execution of the DDG 1000 and DDG 1002 overhaul activities at HII - Ingalls Shipbuilding.
- Individual will report directly to the Ship Design Manager solving complex problems on the deck plate as they arise.
- Individual will need to coordinate with Operations, Program Office, Supply Chain, and the Navy Customer to drive engineering solutions through to implementation.
Requirements
- 2 Years with Bachelor of Science degree in related field
- 0 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills are preferred including VBA
- Prior US Navy overhaul experience is preferred.
