About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects.
  • Serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining the FF(X) Class Standard Equipment configuration control of the program.
  • Develop configuration & management plans and change processes for the FF(X) program as it relates to equipment configuration.
  • Liaisons between SupShip GulfCoast, PMS 410 and the functional organizations.
  • Coordinate activities, provide communications to all company departments, and construct special projects as necessary.
  • Develop tracking mechanisms to assess project costs, schedule, health and risks.
  • Coordinate and track actions and commitments to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with supply chain on supplier progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and company departments.
  • Responsible to present the program status to internal and Navy leadership.
  • Position requires coordination of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly report.
  • Responsible for developing contract deliverables for this area of responsibility.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field;
  • 8 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree;
  • OR HS diploma with 18 years years of experience.
  • Preferred financial background and/or configuration management background.
  • Seeking candidate who has change management experience.
  • Strong organizational / data analysis skills.
  • Strong computer skills – Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience is a must in order to assemble reports and presentations for team and senior/executive leadership.
