About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for preparing customer invoices in accordance with contract terms
Completes profitability analysis on multiple contract types
Develops long range financial forecasts for firm contracts already awarded as well as potential future awards
Monitors actual spending for assigned statement of work against contract budgets to ensure cost performance overruns are avoided where possible
Interfaces with numerous internal departments in the periodic completion of updates to contract estimates at complete
Interfaces with external customers on various invoicing and contracting issues to ensure cash flow targets are achieved and that contract values stay aligned with customer records
Performs numerous key controls for critical financial processes that fall under Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Supports audits of varying types (system, financial and internal controls testing).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline plus a minimum of 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience
Master's degree and 4 years relevant experience
Working knowledge and/or proficient with SAP financial system and IFS/ORION material system as well as Microsoft Office products including Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
