About the role
- Analyze digital design data and utilize these products in conjunction with build plans to create quality and accurate Visual Work Instructions (VWIs)
- Interprets and adds design elements and portions of systems for VWIs to meet manufacturing and installation requirements
- Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, Teamcenter, NX, SAP, NGP and TDP
- Incorporates required changes as applicable
- Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Looking for a highly motivated individual who is a self starter, eager to learn, and a team player.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in relevant field and 1 Year of relevant experience
- One of the following may be used as equivalent to an Associate's Degree to meet minimum qualifications: NNS Apprentice School graduate, Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate, High School/GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience, High School/GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience
- Knowledge with Team Center, SAP, Trade work, NGP, and/or Excel preferred but not required.
