About the role
- Lead a highly technical team responsible for design, design review, and process and procedural standardization
- Administer technical guidance, oversight, and direction to ensure designs meet required standards
- Manage procedure development and maintenance
- Oversee design and design review
- Develop and implement standardized processes
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with industry regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
- Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of cranes and crane processes is a plus
- Experience with internal and customer audits and an understanding of radiological processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for interaction with personnel at all levels of the company
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering/design processes relating to cranes
- Understanding of company business management principles
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks as well as lead and direct the work of others
