About the role

  • Independently handle ongoing financial accounting
  • Record routine business transactions, provisions and accruals
  • Review, code and post supplier invoices
  • Execute payment transactions and monitor liquidity
  • Maintain and manage fixed assets
  • Prepare and produce monthly and annual financial statements
  • Support Controlling in budget preparation and variance analyses
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • Contribute to the further development of accounting processes and internal standards
  • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) and assist with management reports where required
  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for auditors during the annual audit.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training, ideally with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant)
  • Several years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate sector or within a corporate group
  • Proficient in SAP FI (experience with S/4HANA advantageous)
  • Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Reliable, meticulous and structured working style
  • Team player with an independent, responsible approach to work
