Requirements
- 3-5 years agency or startup PR experience (minimum ~36 months)
- Strong media/influencer relations; relationships with more than ten key media across business and industry
- Ability to identify new media and opportunities and share across teams
- Regular and proactive pitching that generates coverage
- Coaching and mentoring of junior staff
- Strong grasp and creative use of social media channels
- Experience measuring ROI of communications activities
- Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
- Ability to manage projects from concept through execution
- Track competitors and flag opportunities and news events for commentary
- Own and direct client PR calls and provide counsel under difficult circumstances
- Develop quarterly campaigns, PR plans, trendscapes and thought leadership topics
- Own key elements of PR programs (analysts, speaking, content)
- Develop budgets and team priority allocations
- Participate in media training sessions and develop key messages
- Exceptional writing and editing skills (press releases, backgrounders, contributed articles, pitches, Q&As, briefing books)
- Professional, articulate and timely client communication
