About the role
- Server and network administration for Microsoft systems, Linux (servers) & VMware
- Firewall / security systems / VPN solutions
- Storage solutions (SAN / NAS)
- Maintenance and upkeep of existing IT systems
- Consulting on IT products and solutions, with a strong focus on advising customers on IT security
- Design and implementation of security solutions
- Operation and monitoring of IT security infrastructure, both internally and at customer sites
- System monitoring and preventive measures to ensure high availability
- Creation of technical documentation and manuals
- Documentation and tracking of incidents in the incident management system
- Quality assurance for hardware and software rollouts
- Customer support via e-mail, phone and chat
Requirements
- Completed degree, vocational training or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in IT administration
- Enthusiasm for challenging software projects and reliability
- Broad technical understanding and experience in designing and analyzing complex systems
- Very good German language skills, at least level C1
