About the role

  • Oversee and manage healthcare management analytics in the Medical Policy department.
  • Develop and implement complex analytical, research, and decision support activities.
  • Consult and provide analytical expertise for various projects related to Medical Policy.
  • Manage hiring, coaching, and performance management of staff.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all projects and initiatives.
  • Establish vision and strategy for the analytics function.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and tools in data visualization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Business, IT, or a related area
  • 5-7 years of lead role experience in healthcare informatics, analytics, business intelligence or statistics
  • 5-7 years of experience solving business, financial and/or clinical problems.
  • 3-5 years of management experience
  • Experience in Utilization Management and/or Medical Policy (preferred)
  • Medical Coding certification (preferred)
