About the role
- Help create or re-establish support systems for families
- Work with social services, schools, and healthcare providers to address families' needs
- Provide counseling services
- Assist in restoring the parent-child relationship and the family's functioning
- Create a safe space and help the family improve communication
- Address emotional needs and challenge rigid thinking
- Help the child and family create new experiences
- Serve clients in both Calhoun and Branch counties
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mental or behavioral health related field (consideration given to college students who are in the process of completing their degree)
- State licensure commensurate with required degree (consideration given if currently in process of obtaining or ability to obtain)
- One or more years experience in providing services to children and families
- No experience if you have a master's degree
- Valid driver's license
