About the role

  • Help create or re-establish support systems for families
  • Work with social services, schools, and healthcare providers to address families' needs
  • Provide counseling services
  • Assist in restoring the parent-child relationship and the family's functioning
  • Create a safe space and help the family improve communication
  • Address emotional needs and challenge rigid thinking

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mental or behavioral health related field (consideration given to college students who are in the process of completing their degree)
  • State licensure commensurate with required degree (consideration given if currently in process of obtaining or ability to obtain)
  • One or more years experience in providing services to children and families
  • No experience if you have a master's degree
  • Valid driver's license
