About the role
- Design, implement, and enhance new site features and integrations to meet evolving business and marketing goals.
- Partner with brand, marketing, and customer experience teams to turn ideas into functional, high-performing web solutions.
- Manage and extend third-party integrations and custom code enhancements across the platform.
- Perform quality assurance testing, resolve defects, and continuously optimize site performance.
- Ensure the site architecture supports scalability, data security, and regulatory compliance as growth continues.
- Keep current with emerging tools, frameworks, and eCommerce trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on web development experience with modern eCommerce or digital platforms.
- Proven success in maintaining and evolving existing builds, not just creating new implementations.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with template or CMS frameworks (e.g., Liquid, Twig, Handlebars, etc.).
- Experience integrating third-party apps, APIs, and extensions into complex web ecosystems.
- Solid debugging and performance optimization skills, with attention to scalability and UX.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual fluency (English/French) is preferred.
