About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and run the infrastructure behind platforms that accelerate the transition to carbon-free energy
- Design, automate, and operate the infrastructure for the virtual battery platform
- Make decisions on deployment and security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong opinions on cloud and self-hosted environments
- Practical and fast
- Comfortable with threat modeling, network segmentation, secrets management, audit logging
- Terraform and Ansible as your default tools
- Comfortable with PostgreSQL operations, including HA and replication across regions
- CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki
- Linux sysadmin fundamentals
- Experience with industrial protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus) or SCADA-adjacent systems is a bonus
- You write code. Bash and Python, Go is a plus
