About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data architecture
Define and lead enterprise data architecture strategy across Azure data platforms, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, analytics, and integration services
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data models, pipelines, and platform architectures aligned to business and technical requirements
Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for data quality, lineage, security, and lifecycle management
Oversee solution design reviews, architecture documentation, and implementation guidance for critical data initiatives
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, architects, and business intelligence professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data management
Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling, Snowflake architecture, and large-scale Azure data platform design
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud data architectures, Azure Data Lake, and modern integration patterns
Demonstrated experience defining governance, metadata, master data, and data quality frameworks
Advanced SQL, database design, and performance optimization skills
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and aligning architecture to reporting and decision support needs
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and risk considerations across Azure and Snowflake enterprise environments
Knowledge of data governance tools, architecture frameworks, and industry best practices, preferred
Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and shape long-term enterprise data and analytics strategy, preferred
