About the role
- Build comprehensive test plans
- Design and build automated tests from scratch
- Perform initial functional testing, end-to-end validation, and API tests
- Validate new functionality before it moves into the Release QA cycle
- Collaborate closely with developers to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Identify, log, and clearly document defects with reproducible steps and supporting evidence
- Recommend improvements to testing methods, automation patterns, and tooling
- Deliver automated test suites to the Release QA team for inclusion in regression cycles
Requirements
- 3+ years in a QA Analyst role within a SaaS or PaaS environment.
- Strong experience performing story-level and feature-level functional testing.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality test plans and comprehensive test scenarios.
- Hands-on experience building automated test cases from scratch (functional, end-to-end, or API).
- Experience with test automation tools (ACCELQ preferred).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test coverage strategies, and risk-based testing.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective tests.
- Excellent communication skills (English) and stakeholder collaboration.
- Comfortable working remotely in a structured, self-managed role.
- Preferred: Experience with Postman, Swagger, or other API testing tools.
- Preferred: Experience with JavaScript-based applications, SQL, BPMN workflows, APIs.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools.
- Preferred: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Preferred: Background in Supplier Information Management or ERP ecosystems (SAP or Oracle).
