About the role

  • Serve as a direct clinical professional providing individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, treat a selected caseload of clients suffering from behavioral health and addiction related issues.
  • Perform biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment and discharge planning for clients.
  • Maintain a current license, certification, and registration as applicable.
  • Contact assigned client within 24-hours of admission and conduct 1:1 encounters at least weekly.
  • Complete Biopsychosocial, Admission Note, ASAM Level 3.5 Criteria, SUD Treatment Plan, and assign Diagnosis within 24-hours of admission.
  • Complete 1:1 Session Note, SUD Treatment Plan Update, and ASAM Criteria Update every seven days for each assigned client.
  • Effectively lead groups and complete Group Session Individual Notes in EMR.
  • Review and sign Case Management Progress Note every seven days for each assigned client.
  • Complete Columbia Suicide Severity Scale, ASAM Discharge/Transfer Criteria, and Discharge Summary-After Care Plan at discharge for each assigned client.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations including procedure for release of client information.
  • Follow policy and procedure when a client requests discharge AMA.
  • Report safety hazards to supervisor or Executive Director.
  • Perform appropriate hand hygiene throughout the shift.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
  • Assessing, Responding and Documenting Suicide Risks.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree and Current Indiana Licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PSY.D, LPCC) or License Eligibility
  • At least 2 years prior experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred.

  • Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
  • Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR.
  • Knowledge of “best practices” behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies
  • Knowledge of MAT services or MAT certification preferred.
  • Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to understand the requirements of the clientele.
