About the role
- Provide individual, group and family therapy to the clients
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments when Tele-Health is unavailable
- Provide consistent, daily, APPROPRIATE engagement with clients, providing support through implementation of the treatment plan
- Assist with discharge planning as needed
- Help individuals develop coping skills and implement interventions as directed
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their treatment
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Additional duties as directed by the Clinical Director
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field required with Current Indiana Licensure Or license eligible accepted
- Experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting is highly desired
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build relationships with patients
- Knowledge of “best practices” behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies and MAT services or MAT certification preferred
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to understand the requirements of the clientele
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations
- Reliable transportation required
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
