About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Audit existing enablement content across channels to identify what is current, stale, or missing
- Define and maintain a taxonomy and organizing structure for enablement content
- Establish content standards and processes for keeping content current
- Own the enablement content system as a source of truth in partnership with Product documentation
- Design and create complex enablement materials using instructional design
- Define design frameworks and quality standards grounded in adult learning principles
- Develop reusable, modular content formats including pop-ups, guides, walkthroughs, quick references, and video
- Measure and continuously improve content effectiveness using feedback and usage data
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and clarity of customer-facing Help Center content
- Proactively refresh outdated content and align it with customer workflows
- Translate product releases into practical, discoverable enablement materials with Product and Product Marketing
- Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success
- Track recurring questions and gaps and convert them into content improvements
- Leverage AI and modern tooling to improve content speed, consistency, and quality
- Improve the content governance system over time
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7+ years of experience in content strategy, instructional/enablement design, or content governance within SaaS
- Demonstrated ability to both design content systems (taxonomy, standards, governance) and create effective content hands-on
- Strong instructional design instincts, grounded in adult learning and adoption of new information
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfort setting standards and driving consistency across contributors without formal authority over them
- Systems-oriented mindset with a focus on reusability, accuracy, and efficiency
- Practice using AI and/or other automation capabilities to improve output quality and speed
- Experience using tools such as Zendesk, Loom, HubSpot, Pendo or comparable enablement/content platforms
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with Product, Product Marketing, Operations, or Customer Success teams
- A genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, paired with the judgment to apply them thoughtfully and responsibly
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
