About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead restoration operations supporting the San Antonio market.
  • Manage restoration projects from emergency response through completion.
  • Ensure work complies with IICRC standards, OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and resources to meet schedules and quality standards.
  • Maintain emergency response readiness and respond to after-hours emergency events as needed.
  • Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and develop restoration supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Support lead generation and business development initiatives.
  • Assist with annual business plans, operational goals, and growth strategies.
  • Manage labor, equipment, fleet, and operational resources.
  • Monitor project profitability and support financial performance goals.
  • Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting, invoicing support, and recordkeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, IICRC, infection prevention, and applicable regulations.
  • Promote quality assurance through inspections and customer follow-up.
  • Maintain readiness for disaster deployments and emergency response.
  • Support restoration operations in other HHS markets when requested.
  • Represent HHS Rapid Response & Restoration at associations, networking events, trade shows, conferences, and community organizations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, environmental services, healthcare support services, emergency response, or a related field.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong desire to grow into a leadership role focused on operations, customer service, and business development.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with customers, healthcare partners, and internal teams.
  • Basic understanding of restoration and emergency response operations.
  • Experience with water, fire, smoke, mold remediation, or specialty cleaning preferred but not required.
  • IICRC certifications preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to obtain required certifications after hire.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company software systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, participate in an on-call rotation, and respond to emergency incidents.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel throughout the San Antonio market and occasionally support other HHS locations.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
