Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, interpret, and set up new court orders, child support orders, tax levies, and creditor claims in the payroll system
  • Remit payments accurately and on time to courts, agencies, and creditors
  • Ensure calculations comply with federal, state, and local withholding limits and timelines
  • Answer inquiries and provide customer support to employees, courts, legal teams, and government agencies
  • Investigate calculation errors and resolve automation failures
  • Submit garnishment refunds for processing
  • Adjust future deductions
  • Serve as a primary contact for employee and court inquiries on behalf of HHS

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 to 3 years working in payroll or specialized garnishment processing
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong proficiency in Workday
  • Strong proficiency in Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Sheets
  • High attention to detail
  • Strict data confidentiality
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Fundamentals of Payroll (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certifications are a plus
