About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement healthcare kitchen cleaning programs that meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Create standardized cleaning processes for kitchens, floors, walls, ceilings, and specialized equipment.
- Train, coach, and mentor Cleaning Detail Team (CDT) staff to ensure consistent execution and high performance.
- Conduct staff evaluations, provide ongoing development, and manage scheduling and performance.
- Partner with Executive Chefs and facility leadership to support clean, safe, and efficient food service operations.
- Develop cleaning tools, training materials, and best practices for healthcare environments.
- Ensure required safety and driving training is completed for team members.
- Build strong relationships with clients through communication, accountability, and exceptional service.
- Monitor cleaning quality, measure performance, and implement continuous improvements.
- Submit operational reports and required documentation accurately and on time.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare environmental services, healthcare food service, or hospital cleaning operations experience
- Strong knowledge of healthcare cleaning standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
