About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute directly to development of key platform features and components as an individual contributor
Lead the end-to-end design and development of advanced healthcare analytics products
Architect and implement analytics, ML, and AI applications supporting business decision-making, workflows, and customer experiences
Communicate priorities and expectations and support the team with resources
Own the quality of team-delivered features against functional and non-functional requirements
Identify gaps in existing architecture and promote experimentation with new technologies and methodologies
Serve as primary technical liaison for executive stakeholders
Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to define scope, assess feasibility, and translate business needs into technical solutions
Mentor and guide engineering teams
Monitor emerging healthcare technologies and trends and recommend solutions
Perform other duties as assigned
Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a similar/related field, or equivalent significant industry experience
8+ years of experience in software engineering and/or data engineering within a software product company
5+ years of hands-on healthcare industry experience, particularly developing healthcare analytics products
5+ years architecting and delivering applications across frontend, backend, and data platform development
Extensive experience architecting, building, and delivering complex high-performance SaaS solutions in cloud environments such as AWS
Experience with microservices and serverless architectures
Proficiency in Java, C#, and Python (preferred)
Experience with relational databases and data warehouses including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Redshift
Knowledge of NoSQL databases
Expertise in frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Hands-on experience with data analytics, AI/ML integrations, generative AI, LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted software development tools
Leadership experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel up to 10%, including overnight travel
