About the role
- Manage a team of Billing Specialists
- Generate and submit claims to insurance companies, government programs, and other payers
- Utilize agency management software for billing tasks
- Record and post payments received
- Monitor and follow up on unpaid claims
- Serve as a revenue cycle subject matter expert
- Develop and update team training documentation
- Collaborate with other operational and product teams
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention through strategic engagement
Requirements
- 5+ years of Revenue Cycle Management experience
- Deep knowledge of billing, common denials, payment posting, electronic transaction formats, and payer portal navigation
- Understand the processes and requirements related to exchanging health care information with Home Health Agencies
- Proven success in customer engagement and relationship management
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strategic and skilled at solving problems with clear, fact-based recommendations
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable to change and collaborative across cross-functional teams
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.
