About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Improve product offerings that support how HFD manages payments, loan servicing, compliance workflows, and operational processes.
Responsible for customer advocacy, product scope and vision, prioritization and arbitration of features, and evangelism to encourage adoption and utilization of their products.
Maximize the output of the development team.
Order the backlog, clearly express product backlog items, and order those items to best achieve goals and optimize the value of the work the team performs.
Lead collaboration and create and communicate requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements.
Work closely with business stakeholders, compliance, operations, and technical teams to understand, analyze, refine, prioritize, and communicate needs to ensure full understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements.
Develop and adapt the product vision and drive alignment across teams.
Participate actively in roadmap strategy and prioritization discussions in close partnership with the Director of Product.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of relevant work experience in product management or product ownership
Technical ability to translate complex operational and compliance requirements into clear business and engineering needs
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
CSPO or related certification preferred
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills to gather, organize, share, and rally multiple groups around an objective
Passion for problem solving, driving innovation, and bringing new solutions to life
Driven to master your craft of product ownership
Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or a regulated financial services environment preferred but not required.
