Sales Manager, White Oils & Specialties
HF SinclairSales Manager managing complex sales for White Oil and Specialty Products at HF Sinclair Corporation. Responsible for developing long-term sales strategies and building customer relationships.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conducting high-level and complex sales and business development assignments
- Defining, planning and implementing long-term sales and business development strategies
- Building business relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Coordinating closely with Sales and Segment Marketing Managers
- Participating in cross-functional team activities to identify new products
- Analyzing and maintaining an accurate forecast
- Completing adequate call reports and account plans leveraging SalesForce
- Making daily pricing recommendations and negotiating sales contracts
- Researching market conditions and collecting data to assess competitors
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 5 years of Account Management experience within the Petrochemical industry
- Strong technical knowledge and experience is required
- Good understanding of customers, competitors and markets, new technologies, global supply/demand dynamics
- Experience in the sales or technical sales of specialty chemicals or white oils is preferred
- Post-secondary education required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry or Engineering is preferred
- MBA considered an asset
- Self-starter with drive and ability to achieve planned objectives
- Advanced creative, organizational, and analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Experience using SalesForce, Power BI, SAP an asset
- Strong crisis management skills
- Advanced interpersonal and communications skills
