About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support capital project delivery across pipelines and facilities
Report to the Director of Strategic Growth Projects
Provide leadership and oversight for the Project Management Organization (PMO)
Supervise and lead Project Managers, Engineers, Right-of-Way personnel, and other PMO staff
Ensure compliance with PMO policies, standards, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage contract engineering and project management activities for pipeline and facility projects
Represent HF Sinclair with internal and external stakeholders and foster strong professional relationships
Participate in KPI reporting and risk assessments for management

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in capital projects, engineering, and construction management
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and supervise professional staff
Strong project leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, CAD tools, databases, and word processing applications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial, statistical, and operational reports
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, procurement, and executive leadership.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or engineering related field, is required
