About the role

  • Provide support and resolution for various SAP modules including configuration and enhancement requests from the user community and company management
  • Support one or more of the following modules: Logistics Execution (LE), Traders Schedulers Workbench (TSW), Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and/or Inventory Management (IM)
  • Provide IT support to operations and logistics function in the scheduling and actualization of bulk movements in SAP utilizing TWS and/or 3rd party applications
  • Implement configuration changes, new releases, and updates to SAP TSW as required for effective support of supply chain operations
  • Provide coordination support between all SD, MM, and IM systems, and related functions to assure effective use of systems
  • Support various interfaces between SAP and other systems to ensure marine and ground transportation processes are optimized and effectively used in supply chain operations
  • Support integration points between modules and support various interfaces between SAP and other systems
  • Analyze process and configuration issues as they occur in the SAP production system
  • Provide support role to subsequent phases of SAP development
  • Design interfaces, reports, enhancements, including custom programs, and conversions to meet business requirements
  • Design and perform quality assurance testing, perform unit testing, and integration testing
  • Support the development of end-user security authorization administration group
  • Facilitate meetings, conduct and lead presentations and/or training sessions with end users
  • Communicate with colleagues, management, and business team members on requirements, problems, project status, and issued
  • Deliver system solutions to business problems in a timely manner
  • Understand work within corporate IT governance practices
  • Lead a team on special projects or play a lead technical role from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in a related occupation performing utilizing SAP S/4HANA in Sales and Distribution (SD) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) process
  • Applying SAP S/4HANA functionalities within logistics operations
  • Executing data migration activities, including data extraction, cleansing, mapping, and loading, using Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), or Batch Data Communication (BDC)
  • Working with middleware technologies and SAP interfaces
  • Utilizing the ServiceNow application
  • Utilizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) functionalities.
