You coordinate and execute daily finance operations – from payments to ensuring smooth transactional processes
You perform pre-closing activities for the monthly close and coordinate the full closing cycle with our external accounting/tax advisory firm (Steuerberatungsbüro)
You take ownership of cost controlling: ensuring accuracy of reports, enabling transparent data sharing, and proactively identifying improvement opportunities to drive profitability
You establish and optimize processes to make the finance function scalable – leveraging technology to automate and streamline wherever possible
You monitor and manage cash flow on a daily basis and maintain a 13-week forecast to ensure financial stability and visibility
You act as the key contact point for external finance stakeholders as well as for internal teams on finance-related requests and projects
Requirements
You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field and bring at least 3 years of experience in finance, ideally with audit/consulting and start-ups (or similarly dynamic environments)
You are familiar with balance sheets and can read a cash flow statement
You understand the financial implications of business decisions
You have managed finance processes across the full cycle – from daily operations and cash flow monitoring to monthly closings, controlling, and providing management with forward-looking insights
You enjoy shaping finance through projects – from implementing new tools to automating processes – always aiming to make the function more scalable and efficient
You’re comfortable in a dynamic setup where priorities shift; you know how to drive initiatives, coordinate with different teams, and ensure tasks are completed even when structures aren’t fully established
You work analytically, track and interpret key financial KPIs, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations – complemented by business intuition and a focus on enabling decision-making and profitable growth
You are fluent in English; German language skills are a strong plus.
