About the role

  • Lead the sales effort within the assigned Segment for the assigned customers
  • Contact customers on a regular basis through phone and teams' meetings
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the competitors serving customers and maintain the Share of Sales in the Sales Portal
  • Solicit new business from new and existing customers
  • Maintain a forecast of the volumes for the assigned segment and customers through the 5Q in the Sales Portal
  • Coordinate the deployment of HEXPOL resources to secure new business, track and maintain the progress on securing new business through the New Business Tracker in the Sales Portal
  • Develop thorough understanding of gaps between customer needs and HEXPOL capabilities and work with the appropriate HEXPOL resources to create methods to bridge gaps on products, services, and value offerings
  • Work with the HEXPOL resources to ensure that the value of products and services rendered are understood by customers
  • Team with HEXPOL Price Management to set prices that generate deltas in-line with HEXPOL goals and reflect fair value extraction for products and services
  • Issue and follow up Quotes to customers with detailed feedback through the Sales Portal
  • Submit Call Reports punctually after sales calls through the Sales Portal
  • Advance the HEXPOL brand with New Customers
  • Periodically review, pricing/deltas for each compound at each account
  • Participate in the resolution of customer complaints
  • Attend trade shows as requested
  • Travel to other HEXPOL locations or to customers may be required
  • Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Seven (7) years of sales experience, manufacturing industry, preferred
  • Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient computer/systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook)
  • Knowledge of SAP, TMS, CQI is helpful
  • Solid organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and manage a broad range of responsibilities
  • High degree of concentration, attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant
  • Ability to interact well with all personality types in a leadership role
  • Strong cooperation, collaboration, and team-building skills
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement
