About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the shipping department at the Sheboygan site.
Safely load and ship bulk outbound material into tank trucks, totes and drums.
Receive and transport to storage inbound material from both internal and external customers.
Clean work area and make minor repairs or adjustments.
Participate in safety training and audits.
Understand and ensure safety standards are met.
Perform analytical testing of in-process samples and finished products.
Maintain certification to the shipping department operating manual.

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years’ work experience – industrial environment preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately.
Troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use a computer effectively with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer’s literature, diagrams, or schematics.
Safety focus in prior jobs
High School Diploma or GED required.
