Resin Technician

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of reactor and associated equipment.
- Ensure all Hexion safety practices and policies are followed during regular operations, unit maintenance and operational outages.
- Participate in safety audits, training, inspections, incident investigations and PSM/PHA activities.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of site air, water and discharge permits.
- Perform real time data entry using MES, SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc as needed.
- Sample raw materials, in-process, and finished product.
- Load finished product onto tank trucks following all Hexion policies and SOP’s.
- Offload raw materials from tank trucks to raw material storage following all Hexion policies and SOP’s.
- Perform minor unit maintenance under qualified supervision.
- Clean and maintain equipment per guidelines.
Requirements
