About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Grow and manage the day-to-day operations of the HPE Academic Alliance in Puerto Rico and the Americas region
- Assess market technical skills gaps and help create workforce training and certification plans in Juniper
- Develop and deliver scalable client engagement plans for universities and students
- Build relationships with universities and students in the region
- Create program updates, metrics, and communication slides for business reviews
- Optimize the engagement experience using existing technical systems and anticipating future needs
- Serve as a trusted advisor to member universities
- Identify and implement initiatives with associated success metrics
- Coordinate resources and approaches to maximize program trainings and certifications
- Coordinate communications, collateral, web assets, course offerings, and delivery mechanisms
- Champion program improvements and streamline supporting systems and processes
- Collaborate with Juniper education services, higher education sales, Juniper Research Center, and HR teams
- Create value for HPE through relationships with academic communities, partners, and customers
- Improve employment potential for participating students and promote talent pools to HPE HR, customers, and partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years of work experience in a related area
- Experience developing and successfully implementing client engagement plans
- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver projects through achievable milestones
- Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team
- Ability to multitask under pressure and respond quickly to changing situations
- Ability to prepare clear responses and narratives
- Knowledge of computing software and networking highly desirable
- Familiarity with the higher education sector
- Experience administering learning management systems (LMS)
- Ability to discuss education services courses, content, and lab offerings with faculty
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions from program data and trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills
- Industry certifications such as Juniper, Cisco, HP, Palo Alto, or similar are a plus
- Higher education thought leadership is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish
