About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop clear and compelling positioning and messaging for HPE OpsRamp across infrastructure monitoring, cloud-native observability, and AIOps
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies for existing and new product offerings
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to align plans with product roadmaps and lead launches
- Produce solution briefs, whitepapers, case studies, demo videos, blogs, campaign assets, landing pages, eBooks, webinars, and offers
- Build thought leadership on observability trends, hybrid cloud operations, and AIOps through analyst engagement, speaking opportunities, and industry content
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis and translate findings into positioning and differentiation recommendations
- Develop sales enablement tools including battle cards, product training materials, and objection-handling guides
- Partner with sales to communicate product value to customers
- Work with customer success teams to identify and showcase customer success stories
- Leverage customer feedback to refine messaging and influence product roadmap decisions
- Drive strategic direction independently and influence stakeholders at vice president level and above
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of product marketing experience in a complex hybrid cloud or cloud-native environment
- Experience with observability solutions required
- Experience marketing observability platforms across metrics, logs, traces, event correlation, and distributed systems
- Experience connecting observability and AI/AIOps narratives, including automation, anomaly detection, and predictive operations, to business value
- Proven success marketing to SRE, platform engineering, and IT operations teams
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies, differentiated messaging, and leading cross-functional product launches
- Strong track record partnering with product, sales, and marketing teams
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to use market, customer, and competitive insights to inform strategy
- Experience using generative AI tools to scale content development, refine messaging, and improve efficiency and pipeline impact
- Familiarity with enterprise buyers including CIOs, CTOs, VP Infrastructure, and IT Operations leaders preferred
- Experience supporting analyst relations and industry influencers preferred
- Ability to independently drive strategic direction in a high-complexity environment
