About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and close complex enterprise opportunities
- Design and present end-to-end networking solutions aligned with customer business objectives
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and Proofs of Concept
- Develop technical proposals and solution architectures for enterprise customers
- Position HPE Networking solutions against competitive offerings and articulate business value
- Build long-term relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Support demand-generation activities with channel and technology partners
- Maintain expertise in emerging networking technologies and competitive market trends
- Drive opportunities from initial discovery through successful deployment and customer adoption
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned New Jersey / New York Metro territory for customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience with Juniper Networking products, including MX, SRX, QFX, and EX
- Experience with HPE Aruba WiFi, Central, and ClearPass
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience
- Strong pre-sales, systems engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience supporting enterprise customers
- Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Experience with high-density enterprise wireless LANs
- Knowledge of Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing, including BGP and OSPF
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IP addressing, and subnetting
- Knowledge of Network Access Control solutions such as Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE
- Knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, and campus networking
- Python scripting and network automation frameworks
- Cloud-managed networking platforms and cloud technologies
- Must reside in the New Jersey / New York Metro area
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
