About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams
- Provide technical support and leadership in creating and delivering technology solutions
- Create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domains
- Contribute technical knowledge and methodologies to the company solutions portfolio
- Shape technical direction and strategies for the organization and external customers
- Implement part or all of technical solutions according to agreed technical designs
- Provide detailed technical designs for enterprise solutions when required
- Lead small to medium technical projects
- Work with project/technical managers and customer representatives
- Provide technical support and input on technology application to business segments
- Advise on solution and integration opportunities
- Provide technical leadership for integration activities
- Support planning and design of solution architectures in multiple-system environments
- Communicate across the client community and demonstrate value
- Document and share project learnings through knowledge tools and communities
- Produce internal knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components, and modules
- Participate in selling and pre-sales activities with sales/principals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional experience
- Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area
- Without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience required (8+ years total)
- Proficient in English and French or German
- Sufficient technical knowledge to own design and scope of deliverables
- Experience leading a small team in delivery of a specific deliverable
- Mastery of at least one technical discipline and strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas
- Advanced business, technical, or functional knowledge
- Ability to resolve problems involving combinations and interactions of products
- Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve client business problems
- Ability to communicate and present complex issues confidently
- Consulting skills including questioning, listening, idea development, rapport, and influencing
- Ability to lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients
- Ability to produce customer documentation
- Ability to translate technical details into concise written form
- Ability to write components of proposal documents and respond to RFP questions
- Ability to translate verbal client requirements into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals
- Ability to develop high-level designs or plans and estimate delivery effort
- Ability to advise on risks associated with work packages
- Ability to collaborate on written technical proposals, reports, and delivery documentation
