About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage with large strategic customers on technical and architectural discussions
Act as a subject-matter expert on KVM virtualization and adjacent cloud infrastructure technologies
Design and execute proof of concepts (PoCs) that demonstrate solution value and validate architecture decisions in customer environments
Author design guides and reference architectures that document best practices for deployment, scaling, and operations
Provide structured product feedback to engineering, representing the voice of the customer and helping shape the roadmap
Partner with sales, product management, and customer success teams to support the technical sales cycle from discovery through deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on production experience with KVM-based hypervisor platforms
Automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tooling)
Observability (monitoring, logging, and telemetry stacks for virtualized infrastructure)
Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) storage
Deep hands-on experience at VMware, Red Hat, or Nutanix, or Hyperscalers
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering and executive audiences
Experience running customer-facing proofs of concept and producing technical documentation or design guides
Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures
Relevant certifications (RHCA, VCAP/VCDX, Nutanix NCA/NCX, or equivalent)
