About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage medium to large projects with more than 20 team members, including responsibility for project scope, schedule, and cost.
Manage client relationships.
Manage communication to the project team and stakeholders.
Manage risks and issues in projects and lead them to closure.
Maintain requirements traceability matrix, working with business analysts and architects.
Enable team collaboration by conducting workshops, meetings, etc.
Own project management deliverables such as project charter, project plan, and reports.
Work with testing teams to ensure test phases are carried out per plan.
Ensure change and release management processes are followed for implementing changes in production environments and transitioning to support teams.
Track organizational metrics and ensure processes are followed during project execution.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline
Over 7 years of experience implementing IT solutions as a project manager in the Telco industry
Minimum 3-5 full life cycle IT implementations as an IT project manager in the Telco industry
Fluent in Italian
PMP Certified
Deep knowledge and experience in project management methodologies—waterfall, agile, lean, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, meeting management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Good understanding of software test methodologies; exposure to test management tools is a plus.
Experience with vendor engagement, statements of work, and procurement processes is a plus.
