About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- As required, maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Manage business configurations for the manufacturing execution system (MES) and ERP System (SAP).
- Writing business requirement documents for IT to develop and improve our system architecture.
- Conduct user acceptance testing of all new code developments deploys for accuracy.
- Enable new products at the manufacturing facility by managing product set ups and virtual/pilot builds.
- Troubleshoot system issues that arise from operations.
- Access and pull data from various databases and translate the data to an acceptable form for engineering and business teams to drive improvements.
- Represent Manufacturing in various related projects and initiatives.
- Designs portions of engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for the manufacturing of parts, component sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements.
- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners regarding process and standards compliance, manufacturing issues, and recommendations for problem resolution for manufacture of existing products.
- Participates as a member of project team of other manufacturing engineers and internal and outsourced manufacturing partners to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high quality manufacturing solutions for low to moderately- complex products from new-product introduction through end of lifecycle.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Holding a Bachelor's degree in a computer science, information systems or related science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline.
- Knowledgeable about using engineering tools and software to design and automate manufacturing processes.
- Capable of applying analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of database structures and an understanding of coding languages.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to effectively communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options.
